Privacy & data protection
Your information.
Handled with care.
This notice explains how Flagship Mortgages Limited handles information when you visit this website or make an initial mortgage enquiry.
Who is responsible for your information?
Flagship Mortgages Limited is the data controller for the information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 12849263. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Contact us at info@flagshipmortgages.co.uk or 020 8234 6180 about this notice or your information.
What information do we collect?
The enquiry form collects your name, email address, telephone number, the type of help you want, your preferred contact method and any message you choose to provide. We record the time of the enquiry and your request to be contacted.
Our hosting service may process technical information, such as network addresses, request timestamps and security logs, to operate and protect the website. Enquiry abuse controls use a hashed network identifier for a short period. Please do not send identity documents, bank details or sensitive financial information through the general enquiry form.
Why do we use it, and on what basis?
We use enquiry information to respond, arrange an appointment and take steps at your request before entering a service agreement. We use technical and security information for our legitimate interests in running a reliable website and preventing misuse, subject to your rights. We may also process records to meet legal or regulatory obligations.
If you later become a client, we will explain the further information needed, how it is used and the relevant retention arrangements. The enquiry form does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell enquiry information for marketing.
Who can receive the information?
Access to website enquiries is limited to authorised personnel. Hosting, IT and email service providers may process information on our behalf to operate the service. Regulators, law enforcement or professional advisers may receive information where required or lawfully necessary.
A general enquiry is not automatically sent to lenders. If you progress to a mortgage application, we will explain the relevant sharing with lenders and other parties. Where a provider processes information outside the UK, we use an applicable adequacy arrangement or other appropriate safeguards and can provide relevant information on request.
How long do we keep it?
Ordinary website enquiry records are kept for up to 180 days from submission, unless they are needed for an ongoing client relationship, a complaint or a legal or regulatory obligation. Records marked for a legitimate retention requirement are reviewed separately. Technical security identifiers used by the enquiry form expire after a short period. Hosting and backup records follow the applicable provider retention arrangements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access or correct information, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests or receive eligible information in a portable form. These rights are subject to legal conditions and may not require us to delete records we must retain.
Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; the law allows an extension in certain cases, which we will explain if applicable.
Cookies and website analytics
See our cookie notice for information about website storage and cookies. Our public website uses no optional analytics, advertising pixels or third-party embedded maps. If optional tracking is introduced, it must be described and an appropriate choice provided before it is used.

You can contact us if you have a concern about how your information is handled. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
